When Mario wakes, he finds himself in the city and Princess Peach, normal sized, who has rescued him. Rosalina reassures him that this explosion is just the mark of a new universe. Mario then awakens in a restored world, near Peach's Castle. He also sees Bowser and Princess Peach awaken intact.
